To maintain our established relationship with the community colleges, the WAFC member companies intend to:

• Participate on program advisory committees established by the colleges/college regions. Experience has shown that a factor crucial to the success of an advisory committee is employer and community college representation from the decision-making level.
• Communicate through industry associations the need to work with community colleges to define and respond to industry’s workforce needs.
• Make management employees available to the college as guest lecturers for specific topics in their areas of expertise, both to monitor program results and provide students with exposure to the realities of the workplace.
